Why did you choose St. Joseph’s?
I loved the flexibility St Joseph’s had with electives. With 5 months of elective time, I am able to learn about specialties peripherally related to ophthalmology such as dermatology and neuroradiology. It’s an attractive curriculum to tailor my education towards my interests and needs.

Any advice for prospective candidates?
Be yourselves. Everyone here is very down to earth and has genuine reasons for wanting to be in the area. Let the program know your reasons

What do you enjoy most about Syracuse/Central NY?
Nature, scenery, landscapes. Food here is surprisingly good too!
