Why did you choose St. Joseph’s?
It’s a very strong program that prepares you well for the real world. You become comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient settings. But one of the most important qualities of the program is the people who run it. They are smart, kind and real. You always feel supported, but they also challenge you to become a better resident and eventually a good doctor.
What do you enjoy most about Syracuse/Central NY?
Syracuse is probably not the most exciting city, but its location is great. Its hours away from Canada, Pennsylvania, NYC and the Adirondacks which makes it easy to get away when needed.
