Why did you choose St. Joseph’s?
Primarily the people. I did an audition rotation here and everyone that I met or worked with (residents, staff, and attendings) were incredibly kind, supportive, interested in teaching, and generally fun to be around. Also, being an unopposed, well established program, I knew that I would get a great experience here and be prepared for whatever type of practice I choose to go into.

What do you enjoy most about Syracuse/Central NY?
I may be biased, as I am from here, but I think we have a good mix of city life (things to do, good restaurants, culture, etc.) and the benefits of not being a huge urban center (less traffic, low cost of living). I also appreciate having seasons – especially after spending the last 4 years in the Nevada desert!
